The University of Le Mans, via the financial support of PANORisk, is offering a Postdoc position for one year.

PANORisk is an interfaculty hub for research, associating the Departments of Economics and Mathematic at the Universities of Angers, Le Mans and Nantes, as well as the Business Schools Audencia (Le Mans) and ESSCA (Angers). The research of the group focuses on theoretical and empirical research in the areas of finance, insurance, decision theory, monetary policy, stochastic processes, econometrics, game theory, stochastic control and numerical methods for solving non-linear stochastic models.

Applicants should hold a recent PhD in Economics or in Applied Mathematics, or be close to finishing their thesis. The successful candidate has demonstrated her or his potential to conduct high‐quality research, by publications or working papers suitable for publication in international journals. The postdoc is expected to independently conduct academic and policy relevant research and to collaborate in the Center’s research activities. A sound command of English and French is necessary.

The universities of Angers, Le Mans and Nantes, as well as the Business Schools Audencia (Nantes) and ESSCA (Angers) offer internationally competitive working conditions and the living conditions in Angers, Le Mans or Nantes are excellent. The starting date is flexible.
